After 5 years of building
Decipad, we are saddened to share that we have made the difficult decision to shut down the service, effective
October 31st, 2025.
When we started Decipad, our mission was to make working with numbers as easy and human as telling a story. Along the way, we built a new kind of collaborative notebook that helped teams model decisions, track metrics, and bring clarity to their business data. We’re proud of the creative and impactful ways so many of you used Decipad — from financial models to product metrics and classroom projects.
However, despite the progress, we were ultimately unable to reach the scale required to continue sustainably. We're grateful for the trust you placed in us with your data and business processes.
You will be able to access and use your notebooks until
October 31st, 2025, when the service will be discontinued. Paid workspaces will no longer be billed after October 15, 2025 and all user data will then be permanently deleted from our systems on
November 1, 2025.
To keep your work, you can download any notebooks using the
Export option under the notebook menu.
Decipad's code is now open source. You can access
https://github.com/decipad/decipad to continue running your notebooks independently.
